Microsoft Fabric Architect

About the Role We’re looking for a senior, autonomous Microsoft Data Architect to lead data strategy and architecture for one of our high-impact startup clients. You’ll be the go-to expert for building, scaling, and securing modern data platforms using the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges, enjoys working with cutting-edge tools, and wants to make a direct impact in a fast-moving environment. What You’ll Do Design & build data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, OneLake, etc.). Develop scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory. Optimize data performance using Delta / Parquet, partitioning, and Spark. Model data into easy-to-use structures (star schema, dimensional modeling). Ensure governance & security with Purview, RBAC, ACLs, and related frameworks. Automate deployments with CI / CD for data pipelines. Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions. What We’re Looking For 15 years in data engineering / architecture (Principal-level). Deep Microsoft expertise: Fabric, Synapse, OneLake (1 year). Hands-on experience: Azure Data Factory (2 years) Delta / Parquet optimization, Spark (5 years) Dimensional modeling / Star schema (5 years) Data governance & security (3 years) CI / CD pipelines for data (2 years) Why Join Us?
