Senior Project Manager

Overview Drive IT projects with a focus on data-related initiatives. Apply project management principles to ensure timely and successful delivery. Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges during project execution. Understand and oversee the flow of data from source systems to dashboards. Identify and manage AWS services involved (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena). Ensure critical stages like ingestion, transformation, storage, and visualization are properly managed. Apply core data governance principles including quality, access control, and compliance. Ensure data security and traceability using appropriate tools and practices. Facilitate the integration of Power BI with AWS data sources. Manage report publishing and access using Power BI Service. Act as a bridge between technical teams (data engineers, data analysts, PBI specialists) and business stakeholders. Translate business requirements into technical deliverables. Identify and manage technical risks, such as data quality issues and pipeline failures. Previous experience as an IT Project Manager. Certifications: PMP/PMI certification or Agile certification (e.g., PSM). Strong knowledge of data architecture, data flow, and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena). Solid understanding of data governance principles and data security practices. Experience with Power BI integration, including data modeling and report management. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Proven expertise in managing risks and dependencies in technical projects.
