Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Contract – Data Centre – North Spain We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a contract role on a major data centre project in North Spain . This is a hands-on, site-based position with competitive contract rates. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and document mechanical commissioning activities for HVAC, chilled water, pumps, piping, and related systems Ensure systems are tested, balanced, and handed over in accordance with project specifications and BSRIA guidelines Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, and client teams to ensure compliance and quality standards Produce commissioning reports, test packs, and handover documentation Troubleshoot and resolve issues during mechanical commissioning phases Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer on data centre or mission-critical projects Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, chilled water, pumps, piping, and controls Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills Ability to work on-site with international project teams Desirable Qualifications: Membership/qualification with CIBSE Knowledge of BSRIA commissioning standards Contract Details: Location: North Spain (site-based) Contract type: Fixed-term / contract Rates: Competitive, paid weekly This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical commissioning professional to contribute to a high-profile European data centre project.
