Automotive Test Engineer

We are looking to expand our team with a professional Test Engineer for the Automotive Sector in Valencia. What would your role be? Performance: Follow the validation plan in line with specification from OEM to insure PPAP at right time Insure the traceability of the parts Contact for program(s) team and representative for testing & external tests Able to quote a validation plan or any single test Able to propose validation plan optimization Analyze costumer specifications and highlight the problems and risks Follow the test done internally & externally, insure timing, quality & costs Follow the validation plan budget Subcontract external test in ISO17025 certified laboratories if any Able to analyze test methods and to propose improvement or evolution Insure availability of parts/tools/fixtures for planned tests Update validation plan and full fill PRC template and give right explanation for deviations Alert in case of deviation, in case of non-quality, non-conformity, delay, extra cost or overbudget costs Produce test request and traceability with good levels of specifications and complete information (parts descriptions, test methods) Participate of the update of the testing price database Request for specific tools for the programs to perform the tests Revise test reports in defined timing Inform/ask for advice to program team if any doubt or non-conformity Feedback of the tests results to the program team HSE: Respect of HSE rules, EPI Responsible to deploy action plans Collaborate in general tasks related with testing department (QRCI, others) Insure 5S, cleaning and arrange his/her workstation Quality : Respect the quality procedures in line with his/her job Respect confidentiality rules What are we looking for? Minimum education level: engineering or significant professional experience Experience: User level knowledge of computer technology Experience in automotive domain Skills and competencies English required, and customer’s language strongly encouraged Able to work in a multicultural environment Rigorous, good level of organization, good level & easy communication What do we offer?
