Operating across flexible generation, battery storage, renewables and energy trading, the business plays a pivotal role in balancing the grid and making clean power accessible when it’s needed most. With a rapidly expanding portfolio, they have the potential to generate over 900MW of power. They are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. To manage a range of sites in the Yorkshire area. The Role Lead and develop a team of Operations Engineers, ensuring safety and efficiency. Oversee operation, maintenance and repair of flexible power generation assets. Prioritise health and safety for yourself, team, and site operations. Optimise plant availability, minimise downtime and support complex maintenance. Monitor performance, manage reporting and implement improvements. Coordinate with contractors, support site handovers and ensure compliance with policies. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Requirements from you Good practical engineering experience (Gas / BESS etc) Hands on knowledge of plant maintenance Understand of large machinery from an operational perspective Experience in managing large operational power assets (Gas / BESS) Experience in managing a team of operations engineers UK Driving License Required
