Business Analyst (SAP/ Finance Transformation) London, UK Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office 6 Month Contract (with potential extension) Day Rate: £500-550 Per Day (inside IR35, rate to umbrella) About the Role Partnering with a multi-billion-dollar media organisation is seeking a Business Analyst. This role is central to a major finance transformation, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, integration of a Master Vendor Data tool, and ongoing global process standardisation initiatives. This is a varied, high-impact role for a proactive, curious, and self-driven analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment. You will collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and project teams to support both day-to-day operations and strategic technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities Act as a key support to the Director of AP Global Process Ownership, helping manage both strategic and operational priorities. Gather business requirements and document current-state and future-state AP processes across multiple regions. Develop Business Requirements Documents, test scripts, SOPs, and process maps. Support SAP S/4HANA and other technology implementations, including execution and monitoring of test scripts. Assist with global AP standardization and integration of AP systems, including vendor master data. Collaborate closely with operations teams to address day-to-day challenges, including ad-hoc process mapping, integration support, and hypercare post-system rollout. Engage with global stakeholders, providing insight, recommendations, and ensuring smooth transitions during implementations. Take ownership of actions from meetings, follow up on tasks, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. Essential Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 2 years in business analysis, process analysis, ideally within finance transformation/ SAP. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management abilities. Self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-moving environment. Confident navigating a matrixed organization, engaging with multiple teams and decision-makers. AP experience/ background is a nice to have. Key Attributes Proactive and curious, with a strong desire to learn and contribute. Team player, comfortable working closely with senior leaders, operations, and project teams. Flexible and adaptable, able to work across different time zones and accommodate occasional late calls with global teams. Comfortable with ownership of tasks from start to finish. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and challenges.
