Advert EDUCATION, COMMUNITIES AND HOUSING Rousay Primary School Janitor 10 hours per week Permanent £28,864 - £29,173 pro rata / £14.96 - £15.12 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance) We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, versatile person with good communication and organisation skills, to join our committed staff team. You should have experience of carrying out routine general maintenance with a commitment to a high standard of working and also a good understanding of security issues. This post will offer applicants a variety of challenges with the main duty being to ensure that the school buildings and grounds are well maintained, secure and safe. You must have a good general standard of education, experience of general maintenance and understanding of Health and Safety and security issues. You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service. This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.
