Company Accountant

My client is an Award-winning regional Main Contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering quality Construction projects on time and to budget. They are currently looking to recruit a Company Accountant/Finance Manager to join their business on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a proactive, dynamic accounts professional with lots of drive and vision preferably with knowledge of the Construction Industry. Duties knowledge and responsibilities • CIS/VAT knowledge for Construction Industry • CIS/VAT Submissions Produce Cashflow Forecasts • Management of Audit by external accountant • Regular Bank monitoring/transfers etc • Subcontractor Payments/retentions/CIS • Fixed Assets • Bank reconciliations • Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Management Accounts • Accruals/Prepayments • Full reconciliations • Prepare and Issue P11Ds • CITB Levy submissions • Provide information for Office for National Statistics • Assist procurement of Performance Bonds/Section agreement • Prepare and administer Expenses • B&CE Pension Submissions • PAYE • Assist front of house including phone calls/deliveries etc • Other miscellaneous duties.
