Release Manager

Job Title: Release Manager Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to own and drive the end-to-end release management process across enterprise applications and systems. The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing software releases while ensuring quality, timeliness, and minimal disruption to business operations. The Release Manager will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver smooth and efficient releases. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, schedule, and manage software releases, patches, and deployments across multiple environments. * Establish and enforce release management processes, standards, and best practices. * Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to coordinate release activities. * Ensure that release scope, content, and timelines are clearly defined and agreed upon with stakeholders. * Monitor and mitigate risks associated with releases, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business. * Maintain release documentation, including release notes, deployment plans, and rollback strategies. * Drive continuous improvement in release processes through automation, monitoring, and feedback loops. * Provide regular reporting and updates on release status, risks, and metrics to leadership and stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: * 5–8 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years in release/change management. * Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. * Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Git, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps. * Knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application deployment. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously. * Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
