Senior Design Engineer Our client, a locally owned leading engineering company who specialise in bespoke products are in search of an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their well-established team in the Omagh area This is brand new position created due to company growth you will be working alongside senior management in the development of a new product range. The job role: Take ownership of mechanical design projects, from concept to completion. Produce detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation. Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective. Apply industry best practices to improve machinery performance, durability, and safety. Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay updated on the latest technologies and integrate innovative solutions into designs. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new products. The successful candidate must have: Relevant Degree or equivalent 3rd level qualification in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years within a design engineer role.
