Management Accountant

Are you a Management Accountant looking to gain experience in the public sector? You will be key in providing financial support to budget holders and Senior Managers. Using your strong analytical skills and passion for driving service improvement this is a great opportunity for someone who would like to help shape the financial management function across the organisation. The role: Provide Financial support to managers and budget holders Development of business cases and service development proposals Investigate causes of variances and contribute to the implementation of solutions Manage risk and contribute to strategic planning Capital reporting, budget setting and identifying threats to the financial stability of the organisation The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Qualified Accountant from a professional body with 3 years relevant experience Experience in financial management. Advanced user of Excel and other MS applications. Experience of budgetary control and preparation of management accounting reports.
