Assistant Sales Manager £35,000 - £50,000 OTE Competitive Salary (uncapped) Southampton PERMANENT About the Role My client is seeking an energetic and focused Sales Executive to join the team based in Southampton. While prior experience is an advantage, what matters most is your willingness to learn, your drive to succeed, and your passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you’ll spend quality time with customers, building rapport, understanding their needs, and presenting the right solutions across the product range. Key Responsibilities * Demonstrate suitable options to customers, adapting to their needs and encouraging test drives. * Agree pricing, payment methods, and finance arrangements within company guidelines. * Liaise with Sales Administration to confirm product availability, process orders, and schedule any additional services before delivery. * Follow up after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships. * Plan and organise daily sales activity, including contacting prospects and existing customers. * Collaborate with colleagues and other dealership teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Key Skills * Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines. * Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses. * Strong work ethic and adaptable to change. * Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work. * Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve the business needs. * Able to react positively to organisational and market changes. * PC, Microsoft, and web literate.
