Internal Sales

Position : Internal Sales Location : Sheffield Sector : Engineering, manufacturing Salary : £30,000-£35,000 Hybrid : No, this is an onsite role Purpose : As an inside sales representative, you will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for preparing technical quotations, managing customer inquiries, and supporting our sales representatives in their daily work. You will collaborate closely with both customers and internal technical specialists to ensure that our solutions meet the customer need. The Role : Your main responsibilities will include: Receiving RFQs and then creating and issuing quotations Following up on issued quotations to secure orders or understand why orders were not placed Coordinating sales activities and customer communications Supporting sales personnel with documentation, agreements, and order management Contributing to the development of internal processes for increased efficiency About You : Has experience from in a B2B sales environment Able to read engineering drawings preferred Good standard of literacy and numeracy Is familiar with working on quotations, order processes, and customer support Has a technical interest and understanding, ideally with exposure to bills of materials and product & part catalogues Experience with CRM and ERP systems is preferred, ideally SAP Is structured, communicative and proactive with first class communication skills Fluent written and spoken English Service-minded and cooperative Thorough and responsible Skilled at building relationships internally and externally Enjoys a role with many points of contact Key Words : Sales, Sheffield, Internal Sales About Us We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
