Job Description
We are recruiting to a new role in our Finance team in London Bridge. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in accountancy with a fast paced and supportive team. Key responsibilities * Assist with end-to-end accounting process for reporting various elements of the P&L * * Post monthly accruals as part of the month-end process, collaborating with senior finance colleagues to ensure completeness and accuracy. * Prepare detailed month-end reports for management review, highlighting key variances and supporting business decision-making. * Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, identifying discrepancies & resolving outstanding items. * Assist with payment run processing, ensuring timely payments in accordance with agreed terms. * Provide assistance to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions when required, contributing to smooth departmental operations. * Supporting the Financial Controller to identify, develop and implement improvements. Skills and Experience * AAT qualified or studying for ACA/ACCA/CIMA * * Previous experience with preparation of management accounts * Strong Microsoft Excel, enabling efficient data analysis and reporting. * Experience using Sage accounting software is desirable * Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail for ensured accuracy * Strong interpersonal abilities to allow you to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organisation. * Effective communication skills to articulate information clearly when collaborating with team members or presenting findings. * Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being comfortable operating independently under supervision * A commitment to continuous improvement drives you to identify opportunities for process enhancement and seek guidance when necessary.
