Freelance Site Manager – New Build Industrial Unit – Attleborough (Norfolk) Start Date: ASAP Rate: Competitive Day Rate Duration: Approx. 3 months We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected building and civil engineering contractor for a Site Manager to oversee a 3-month freelance contract in Attleborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager with experience in industrial unit builds, particularly those involving steel frame and cladding construction, reinforced concrete foundations, and external works including car parking and landscaping. The Project: You’ll be managing a small new build industrial unit, from groundworks through to completion. The build includes: * Steel frame and cladding superstructure * RC foundations and pads * External works including car park construction and landscaping The Role: As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for: * Day-to-day site management and supervision * Managing health & safety compliance and site documentation * Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers * Liaising with the client and project team to ensure smooth delivery * Ensuring work is carried out to specification, on time, and to budget The Contractor: Our client is a regional and national contractor known for delivering high-quality building and civils projects. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar industrial new builds * SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification * Strong knowledge of steel frame and RC works * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Freelance availability from the start of the project Interested?
