Financial Controller (12-month FTC)

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working exclusively with its growing client based just outside of Glasgow to appoint an Interim Financial Controller. This role will begin as a 12-month contract, with potential to become permanent. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for: Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for 6 entities within the Group Production of year end accounts and liaison with external auditors Leadership and management of a small finance team of 3 Weekly cashflow forecasting and management Monthly reporting and business partnering with the leadership team within each business unit Input into commercial tenders and new business ventures Other ad hoc duties that arise within this fast-growing entrepreneurial business The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent) Experienced in the hands-on preparation of monthly management accounts and leading a small finance function Comfortable in decision making at a senior level SME background is desirable Must be available at short notice Salary / Working Model: £60,000 - £65,000 p.a.
