Business Analyst

A payments technology group is seeking a Business Analyst to support a major data transformation initiative within its Commercial Transformation team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on mapping complex data journeys, improving data governance, and enabling better decision-making through streamlined processes. Key Responsibilities Map high-level ‘As Is’ processes, identifying key subprocesses, stakeholders, and areas of risk or inefficiency Document data flows across systems, including dependencies and downstream impacts Analyse and design improved ‘To Be’ data models and processes Support the development of data governance frameworks and tools Prepare materials to support executive-level discussions and decision-making Key Requirements Strong communication and facilitation skills Proven experience in mapping ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes Proficiency with process mapping tools (Lucid preferred) Analytical mindset with a passion for simplifying complexity Technical proficiency and familiarity with CRM, ERP, and Service Management systems Desirable: experience or qualifications in Business Process Redesign or Six Sigma Details Start date: ASAP Duration: 6-month contract (with potential to extend) Day rate: £400 - £500 Ltd / £250 - £350 PAYE Location: Remote-first with occasional in-person meetings (London-based)
