Data Analyst- Logistics- Internship

Mandarin is highly preferred This is a full-time internship with the prospect of a full-time job JD Logistics is a leading integrated supply chain and logistics provider in China, known for its advanced technology, nationwide delivery network, and expertise in managing large-scale e-commerce and retail logistics operations. We are growing ambitiously in the UK and EU region. Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, and analyze logistics and supply chain data (transportation costs, delivery times, warehouse utilization, carrier performance, etc.). Develop dashboards and reports in tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to support decision-making. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to recommend process improvements. Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, transportation cost per unit, and inventory accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, planning, operations, IT) to design and implement data-driven solutions. Support predictive analytics and scenario modeling for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and route optimization. Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS). Assist in automation of recurring reports and development of data pipelines. Prepare presentations and insights for senior management to drive strategic logistics initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data analysis, SQL queries, and visualization tools . Knowledge of logistics processes (transportation, warehousing, inventory management). Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). Experience with ERP/WMS/TMS systems is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
