What We’re Looking For You’ll bring: Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong understanding of construction contracts & legislation Excellent negotiation, analytical & communication skills A proactive, time-efficient approach to work A relevant degree or HNC experience A full UK driving licence What You’ll Be Doing As our Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the lead on: * Managing and overseeing all commercial aspects of construction projects * Collaborating with the estimator on feasibility studies & cost appraisals * Working with design teams and buyers to source & price materials * Managing subcontractors: tendering, placing orders, certifying work * Acting as the bridge between site managers, engineers, project managers & clients * Tracking & managing budgets, valuations & variations * Identifying commercial risks & driving cost control initiatives * Mentoring junior surveyors to build team capability * Delivering clear, structured reports to stakeholders The Package * Cheltenham-based office with site visits * Full-time, Monday–Friday * Salary: DOE * Strong career development opportunities Benefits: * Company pension * Gym membership * Health & wellbeing programme * On-site parking
