Cloud Engineer

Azure Cloud Engineer - Glasgow/Hybrid - £55-60K - Permanent role An opportunity to join the cloud infrastructure and networking team within a well established business, to be part of their migration into a full cloud environment. You'll work as part of the team managing the existing on-prem, and growing cloud infrastructure, managing existing environments and assisting in building, designing and launching a cloud-hosted infrastructure. You'll be responsible for operational management of SaaS, IaaS and PaaS environments and will be responsible for automating resource provisioning (compute, storage, monitoring etc) and building and designing new tools and processes to improve experience and reduce errors. You'll need previous experience in a range of IT environments - operating systems, networks, applications, platforms and databases - including commercial experience with cloud technologies including design and deployment. Skills with technologies including Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git or equivalents are essential, as are experience with virtualisation (VMWare or similar) and CI/CD pipelines, as well as knowledge of M365 platforms. You must be AZ-104 or AZ-102 Certified. The role is based in Glasgow and is hybrid; you'll need to be in the office one day a week.
