Setting Out Engineer – Bridges & RC Structures Location: Various Oxford, oxfordshire Rate: £270 – £350 per day (outside) Contract: Ongoing freelance / contract Are you a skilled Setting Out Engineer with experience on bridgeworks and reinforced concrete (RC) structures? We are seeking proactive and technically confident engineers to support high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for bridges, RC structures, abutments, retaining walls, and associated civil works * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans * Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers * Ensuring all works are delivered to the required tolerances and specifications * Maintaining accurate site records and as-built documentation Requirements: * Proven experience working on bridges and RC structures * Strong knowledge of total stations, GPS equipment, and AutoCAD * CSCS card (essential) * Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (preferred) * Ability to work independently and manage site-based responsibilities What’s on Offer: * Competitive daily rates: £250 to £350 per day, depending on experience * Long-term contracts on major UK infrastructure projects * Opportunities to work with leading contractors and consultancies * Weekly payments and quick onboarding process Apply Now
