Site Engineer – RC Structures Location: Shepherd’s Bush, London Rate: £280 – £400 per day Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Start Date: Immediate We are currently seeking a Site Engineer with proven experience in reinforced concrete (RC) structures to join a major project based in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established civil engineering contractor on a high-spec urban development. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out and surveying for RC foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and cores * Interpreting technical drawings and construction plans * Working closely with the site team, subcontractors, and the project manager to ensure accurate execution * Ensuring works are delivered in line with tolerances, safety, and quality requirements * Keeping accurate records, producing as-builts, and assisting with QA documentation Requirements: * Solid experience in RC frame or RC civils projects * Proficient with GPS/EDM/Total Station equipment and AutoCAD * CSCS card (essential) * SSSTS or SMSTS (advantageous) * Strong understanding of concrete pours, reinforcement, and sequencing * Able to work independently and confidently on busy city-centre sites What’s On Offer: * Competitive rate: £280 – £400 per day, depending on experience * Long-term opportunity on a high-profile central London project * Weekly pay and prompt onboarding * Supportive site team and established contractor Apply Now
