Appointed Person (Cranes) - Close to Croydon/Thornton Heath, Surrey Salary: £40,000 per annum Overtime (time & half / double time) Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Mon-Fri) weekend work (guaranteed 8 hours per day, with overtime rates) Start Date: 8th September Our client, a leading name in the lifting and plant movement sector, is looking for an experienced Appointed Person to join their team based in the Croydon / Sutton / Banstead area. This role will be a mix of office-based duties and site visits to carry out surveys for upcoming projects. You must live close to the area to be able to undertake the role. Experience within Plant Movement and the physical side of the role is prefered. Appointed Person What's on Offer: £40,000 per annum unlimited overtime opportunities Overtime paid at: Time and a half (first 4 hours) Double time (next 4 hours) Company van (for business and personal use) Company uniform provided 20 days holiday bank holidays Stable, full-time role with career prospects Appointed Person The Role: Carrying out site surveys and preparing lift plans Working full time from Croydon office and project sites Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and lifting regulations Weekend work required (minimum a couple of weekends per month) About You: Blue CPCS card - held for at least 5 years Proven experience in lifting operations and plant movement Full UK driving licence Excellent English (written & verbal) - must be fluent Able to pass Government security checks (no convictions) Professional, reliable, and safety-focused Application Requirement: Appointed Person Candidates must provide 3 recent lift plans they have authored prior to interview.
