Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Engineer – Design | Full-time/ Part-time | On-Site. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Design who will be responsible for designing electrical distribution systems up to 11KV, preparing detailed technical drawings, performing electrical load calculations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role involves close collaboration with external consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient electrical design solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out detailed electrical calculations to support design solutions. • Prepare electrical design drawings and supporting documentation. • Design LV and MV switchboards with appropriate specifications. • Prepare and maintain accurate switching schedules. • Ensure all designs comply with the latest applicable codes, regulations, and standards. • Manage project deliverables and adhere to established timelines. Requirments: • In-depth knowledge of electrical distribution systems up to 11kV. • HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). • Experience in electrical design engineering with proficiency in AutoCAD or EPlan. • Knowledge of standards and regulations like, IEC standards, and relevant industry codes. • Clear communication abilities and a collaborative mindset. • Experience in using design tools and performing technical calculations. • Ability to work confidently with external consultants and stakeholders
