Control System Engineer

Role – Control Systems Engineer Location – Leicestershire Type – Permanent Salary – £40,000 - £65,000 (competitive depending on experience) A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HND qualification or the equivalent in Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – modifications & commissioning Good understanding of PLC software such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication skills The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve: Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels Involvement in R&D Commissioning work before handover to customers Occasional attending site visits when required Providing support on installations when required.
