Salary up to £25,000 DOE Respected and well-established law firm Excellent support and training An established, city-centre law firm is building a new compliance function and is looking for a Compliance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position offering an excellent opportunity to grow as the compliance team develops. Responsibilities include: Working as part of the compliance team, you’ll play a key role in client onboarding and supporting regulatory processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Running conflict checks Verifying ID documents Completing AML and Smart Searches (domestic & international) Adding and managing new client records on CMS Supporting the client onboarding process and working closely with the wider support team What we need from you: We’re open to candidates with prior experience in compliance – ideally from a legal environment, but we also welcome applicants with AML or KYC experience gained in financial services or other regulated industries. You’ll need to be detail-focused, reliable, and confident working in a process-driven environment.
