Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology – Global Pharmaceutical Leader – UK Walker Cole International is searching for a Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical organisation. This is a senior leadership opportunity based in the UK with international travel, supporting a growing drug product portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Lead global MS&T activities across a portfolio of products, ensuring robust scientific oversight and lifecycle optimisation. Drive strategic tech transfer, scale-up, and COGS initiatives to enable successful product launches and continuous supply. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners to support quality, compliance, and technical excellence. Deliver global process improvements, knowledge management, and reapplication of best practices across the network. Candidate Profile: Minimum 5 years' experience in drug manufacturing, with strong technical knowledge of drug substance production. Proven track record in leading global MS&T initiatives, tech transfers, and process optimisation projects. Experience designing/optimising commercial drug manufacturing processes incorporating external supply partners (CMO/CDMO). Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a matrix organisation.
