Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Manage debtors : invoicing, customer reconciliations, credit control, and collection of outstanding payments. Manage creditors : processing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and preparing payments. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, debtors, and creditors ledgers. Assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and financial reports . Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Ensure all transactions are captured accurately and processed within deadlines. Support external audit and internal compliance processes with necessary documentation. Perform variance analysis and highlight discrepancies for corrective action. Provide administrative and financial support to the finance department as needed. Key Competencies & Skills: Strong knowledge of debtors and creditors processes . Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis, reporting). Experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero). High level of accuracy and attention to detail . Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills . Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of confidentiality and integrity . Qualifications & Experience: Relevant financial/administration qualification (Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred). Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a financial administration role with exposure to debtors and creditors . Proven advanced Excel skills essential.
