Job Profile: Oracle Supply chain Planning Consultant (Techno-Functional) Job Type: Long-time based contract Job Opportunity Location: 100% Remote in Mexico Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with deep knowledge in Oracle Planning Cloud , specifically in Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) modules. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical solution design and business process optimization, working closely with stakeholders, architects, and developers to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient planning solutions. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate Oracle Demand Planning and S&OP Cloud application functionalities to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions aligned with business goals. Collaborate with business process owners, stakeholders, and enterprise architects to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements. Design high-level and detailed solution architecture, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives. Configure Oracle Planning Cloud applications to support business processes in demand planning and S&OP. Lead and participate in functional solution testing, validation, and UAT support. Oversee the design and development of integration customizations, extensions, and workflows (including inbound and outbound interfaces). Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Planning Cloud functionality, configuration, and process integration. Perform functional fit-gap analyses and identify optimal application configurations or customizations to meet business needs. Manage relationships with Oracle support and other vendors to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and advocate for enhancements. Author and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, user guides, and support documentation. Qualifications and Experience: 5 years of experience in business/system analysis and solution design for enterprise applications. 3 years of hands-on implementation and configuration experience with Oracle Planning Cloud , particularly in Demand Planning and S&OP (knowledge of Supply Planning is a strong plus). Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering enterprise solutions using Agile methodologies . Strong understanding of planning business processes, including demand forecasting, supply balancing, scenario planning, and performance monitoring. Core Competencies: Techno-Functional Expertise : Ability to configure Oracle Planning Cloud while understanding business implications and driving adoption. Solution Design & Validation : Skilled in modeling, designing, and validating Oracle Planning solutions based on business requirements. Problem Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both functional and technical issues. Cross-functional Collaboration : Comfortable working across business and technical teams, facilitating communication and driving results. Documentation & Communication : Proficient in creating high-quality documentation, including functional specs, process flows, and testing artifacts. Preferred Technical Skills: Oracle Planning Cloud (Demand Management, S&OP) Oracle Demantra and/or Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) – highly beneficial Integration tools and techniques (REST, SOAP, OIC) Data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools Experience with OTBI, FBDI, and ADFDI Familiarity with Oracle Fusion architecture and security model Educational Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. Oracle Planning & Collaboration Cloud Implementation Professional certification – required Certification in Oracle Demantra or Oracle ASCP – highly beneficial
