CAD Designer Role Overview A global manufacturing company is seeking a CAD Designer with expertise in AutoCAD to support product and tooling design activities. The role focuses on creating efficient, high-quality technical drawings in compliance with customer requirements and internal engineering standards. The position also contributes to continuous improvement by providing design feedback and supporting engineering reviews. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed product drawings based on customer specifications and engineering input. Create tooling drawings to optimize material usage and reduce manufacturing time. Ensure all drawings comply with CAD guidelines, customer standards, and project requirements. Manage drawing revisions and maintain accurate documentation in PDM systems. Support design and process engineers by providing timely CAD deliverables. Participate in design review meetings and provide technical feedback on product improvements. Stay current with software updates and implement new CAD functionalities as needed. Availability for occasional domestic and international travel. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with AutoCAD. Experience with 3D design software (preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Diploma or certification in CAD is a plus). Exposure to design engineering, process engineering, project management, quality, or prototyping. Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 procedures (basic level).
