Logistics Coordinator

Position: Logistics CoordinatorLocation: Downtown (Onsite, 5 days per week)Salary: Up to $60K (based on experience) benefitsAbout the Role:We have a client seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team ASAP! In this role, you will manage the flow of incoming merchandise and information throughout the supply chain, ensuring that shipments are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination, strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.- Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.- Schedule with suppliers, transportation companies, warehouses, and customs brokers.- Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, customs documents, etc.).- Resolve issues related to delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies.- Track shipments using freight forwarder and steamship line portals; update ETA changes as needed.- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines.Qualifications:- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).- At least 2 years of experience in related field.- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.- Proficient in MS Office (Excel required); experience with logistics or ERP software is an asset.- Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs, and logistics terminology.Please send your resume to Julie Maltby at jmaltby@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
