Payroll Specialist

If you have expertise in Canadian payroll (Ontario), a strong grasp of union and non-union payroll processes, and an ability to handle U.S. payroll—this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:· Canadian Payroll Administration: Manage and process end-to-end Canadian payroll, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations (Ontario).· Union and Non-Union Payroll: Administer weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for unionized and non-unionized employees.· U.S. Payroll Experience: Handle payroll operations for U.S.-based employees, ensuring compliance with relevant federal and state regulations.· Technology and Tools: Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process and maintain payroll records with utmost accuracy.· Reporting & Analysis: Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Excel to conduct reporting, audits, reconciliations, and data analysis to support payroll and HR functions.· Compliance & Records: Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and collective bargaining agreements while maintaining accurate employee payroll records.Qualifications:· PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) or similar designation is required.· Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience in a Canadian business, particularly within Ontario.· Knowledge and experience processing payroll for both union and non-union environments.· Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software.· Proven experience with both weekly and bi-weekly pay cycles.· U.S. payroll experience is required.· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).· Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.Perks and Benefits:· Competitive salary within the manufacturing industry.· Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and RRSP matching.· Opportunities for professional development and additional training.· Collaborative and supportive workplace culture.Join a progressive company that values precision, collaboration, and innovation.
