Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients team on a long-term contract in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of their accounts receivable processes.Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage aging reports to ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.- Process tenant rental payments and accurately record high volumes of transactions.- Communicate with tenants to collect overdue payments and address account discrepancies.- Utilize accounting software systems, such as Yardi, to track and manage financial data.- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and improve collection processes.- Generate and review financial reports to support decision-making and maintain compliance.- Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all accounts receivable activities.- Maintain strong relationships with tenants and provide excellent customer service.- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.- Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as Yardi, and ERP platforms.- Strong knowledge of collection processes, payment processing, and financial reporting.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage tenant relationships effectively.- Bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.- Familiarity with CRM tools and financial services software is an advantage.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.If this position interests you and you have the necessary qualifications, please do not hesitate and call us today at 613-236-4253!Job Reference Number: 0013257140Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
