Commercial Sales and Estimating Manager

Position: Commercial Sales and Estimating ManagerLocation: BramptonJob Type: Permanent full-time (hybrid)The Commercial Sales and Estimating Manager plays a critical role in driving the profitability and growth of the business by developing and executing commercial strategies, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing pricing, contracts, and sales performance to achieve budgeted sales.Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the sales strategy for the division by understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial/sales opportunities to grow market share.- Review tender documents and engineering drawings to understand project requirements.- Provide accurate quantity and cost estimates for projects.- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive rates.- Forecast and develop business plans that build account revenue.- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.- Oversee preparation of agreements on contract matters and review contract documents.- Implement strategy and commercial terms for procurement packages, lead/participate in commercial negotiation with vendors.- Monitor and manage project budget, i.e. contract revenue, payment applications & certifications, cost payments and cash flow in accordance with project requirements and provide timely reporting to management.What you bring:- Postsecondary education in Architecture, Construction Management, Estimation, or a related field preferred.- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial glazing sales and estimation.- Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale ICI/commercial glazing projects.- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.- Leadership skills with experience managing small teams.- Proficient in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and CAD-based programs (AutoCAD experience is an asset).If you think you are the right candidate for the role, please send your resume to karen.thomas@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
