Experimental Mechanics (Hourly)

The Automotive Research & Development Centre (ARDC) located in Windsor, Ontario, is a part of the Stellantis Product Development organization active in the design and test of automobiles and components with over 140 employees. ARDC Experimental Mechanics (Hourly) will perform fabrication, assembly, installation, calibration, maintenance and testing on new experimental automotive components and test equipment from oral or written instructions as well as from blueprints or sketches. The Experimental Mechanic (Hourly) diagnoses malfunctions and problems in vehicle components and systems; repairs or rebuilds mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and structural components of cars and trucks; and has strong teamwork and individual skills.
