This isn't just a job; it's your opportunity to lead teams, build enduring client relationships, and advance business development efforts that shape the future of the firm.What You'll Achieve as a Senior Audit ManagerDrive strategic client management excellenceManage a diverse portfolio of clients with advanced business, assurance, and tax needs.Lead high-value meetings with clients, articulating strategies and resolving issues.Draft and sign off on financial statements, ensuring precise disclosure and compliance.Oversee assurance engagements, carrying out detailed reviews to maintain quality.Prepare and analyze complex corporate and personal tax returns to deliver optimal results.Exemplify leadership & operational excellenceLead multi-disciplinary teams, fieldwork assignments, and large client engagements with confidence.Allocate resources effectively, balancing demands with timelines and budgets.Mentor, coach, and inspire junior staff to achieve personal and organizational goals.Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans to ensure growth and success.Take an active role in knowledge-sharing, leading internal training programs and facilitating monthly sessions that empower your team.Innovate and Drive Practice DevelopmentRespond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and actively support winning new business initiatives.Partner with Managing Partners to design policies and streamline processes that elevate firm-wide performance.Chair internal strategy meetings, create agendas, and oversee follow-through initiatives.Conduct advanced technical research to provide trusted consultation on complex tax and accounting matters.Oversee billing, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and financial controls for client portfolios under your leadership.What's In It for You?Competitive compensation package with full health benefits.Strong work/life balance with flexibility to help you balance your family an personal commitments.Collaborative culture.Meaningful client impact.What We're Looking ForA CPA Designation along with 7 years of post-designation experience in public accounting.Proven success leading client engagements and teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and nurture critical client relationships.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software systems, with the organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.A strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities that inspire trust in both clients and colleagues.Strong hands-on understanding and experience of Canadian accounting principles and audit standards.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
