Job Description
HCL Tech is looking for LMS coordinator with the below skills: SKILLS: The Learning Management System Coordinator will support the training and development team and provide technical support to the learning management system (LMS) administrator and a particular subset of employees who use the system. This position will support and maintain content, assets, reporting, and other resources used for instructional functions. The Learning Management System Coordinator will assist with the installation of certain system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and software integrated with the tool. This role will support the document control/lab training system, MediaLab. • Upload, publish, manage, test, and deploy content; including, but not limited to, online courses, competency testing, quality improvement, and document control. • Maintain data integrity related to uploads and input from other sources for instructional function. • Collaborate to determine effective methods to package and deploy training based on ease of use, completion, and tracking requirements within an instructional function. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain the LMS. • Respond to the ticketing system for errors and troubleshooting resolution within a particular instructional function. • Support the development, maintenance, and enforcement of processes and practices related to the use and administration of the LMS. • Provide technical assistance to learners and other system administrators. • Maintain catalog accuracy related to course offerings. • Generate reports related to adoption, completion status, and effectiveness of training solutions. • Use process improvement expertise to ensure successful, ongoing execution of system, and implementation of best practices within an instructional function. • Support learner accessibility and promote efforts to improve user experience within a particular instructional function. • Analyze data around consumption and completions and make recommendations based on learner trends, impact, and content consumption within a particular instructional function. • Collaborate with document control, training leaders, and operational teams in the development, enhancement, and strategy of use for the LMS. • Work with LMS developers in the creation of new reports, modules, and competency-tracking strategies to enhance tracking efficiency and survey readiness according to regulatory requirements. • Optimize continuing education (CE) documentation practices, and track CE completion and reporting according to CAP/CLIA regulatory requirements. • Assist ancillary labs in the implementation of LMS system and best practices. • Ability to handle detail-oriented work and meet schedules and deadlines. • Ability to shift priorities and manage multiple, concurrent projects. • Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality of sensitive data. • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures. • Maintain regular and reliable attendance. • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization. • Ability to work designated schedule. • Ability to work overtime, as needed. • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day. • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Technology, Computer Science, or field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree. • 2 years of experience in a training systems administration, LMS administrator, or similar role. • Demonstrated ability to work in a regulated industry or rules-based system. • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, software, and tools. • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
