Job Description
Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based near Chester to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Finance Director with strategic financial planning and analysis, complex modelling, budgeting and forecasting, and commercial reporting. Responsibilities: Support the design and execution of robust financial strategies through advanced financial modelling to align with both short-term and long-term organisational objectives. Lead and oversee budgeting process, including the development, consolidation, and review. Ensure alignment with strategic goals, while monitoring performance against budget through variance analysis and scenario planning. Develop and maintain dynamic financial forecasting models to support rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and long-term financial planning. Provide actionable insights based on trends, assumptions, and predictive analytics. Implement and manage project accounting frameworks to ensure accurate tracking of project budgets, costs, revenues, and margins. Deliver timely and detailed financial reporting. Proactively identify financial risks and implement internal controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard. Serve as a strategic financial liaison for internal teams and external partners, providing expert guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to support cross-functional decision-making. Qualifications/ Experience: Qualified / Chartered accountant (ACCA/ACA/ CIMA) Financial modelling, complex data analysis and advanced excel skills. Budgeting and forecasting.
