Candidates should have a valid TN or tourist visa Job Titl e : HMI Engineer Locations: Remote Duration: Long Term Client: DAI/UPS Job Description We are looking for HMI Engineers to join our team and take part in the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS sites. This role will involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to ongoing support. You will collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management, controls engineering teams, electrical engineering teams, and different customer groups to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using Indusoft and Wonderware. Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, computer, and networking equipment. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software. Participate in site commissioning activities. Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Design, plan, and coordinate work teams. Provide technical support to project team members. Lead and direct the work of others. Work under the supervision of the Software team. Essential Must have Skills: Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with UPS projects is preferred. Must Have AVEVA Edge or (indusoft Web studio) experience HMI/SCADA Software Experience (Factory Talk, FT optix, Wonderware, Indusoft) Knowledge in SCADA, IoT, PLC programming, Python, and VBScript Prefer UPS project experience Work Environment This role offers a fantastic company culture focused on hard work and employee well-being.
