AutoCAD Technician – Waterproofing Systems We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Technician with experience in waterproofing systems to join our team. The role involves producing detailed design and construction drawings for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and field teams to ensure technically sound drawings that align with project requirements, codes, and manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities • Create and revise AutoCAD drawings (layouts, sections, isometric views) for waterproofing details. • Interpret architectural/structural plans to integrate waterproofing solutions. • Prepare shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC standards, and industry codes. Qualifications • Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, or related field. • 2 years of AutoCAD experience (2020 or newer), preferably in construction or waterproofing. • Experience producing technical drawings for below-grade, above-grade, horizontal, and vertical waterproofing systems. • Knowledge of waterproofing standards (ASTM, ICC, ACI) and familiarity with systems from major manufacturers (e.g., Tremco, Sika, Alchemco). • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex plans. • Preferred: field experience, BIM/Revit skills, or civil/structural detailing background. Schedule • Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST
