Site Engineer

I am working with a global construction company, who have a project in Brantford, ON, and requires a Site Engineer to start ASAP. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accuracy in site measurements, layouts, and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on role working closely with site management, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality construction outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform site setting out and surveying to ensure works are carried out in line with design specifications. Interpret and implement construction drawings and plans accurately on-site. Monitor and check the accuracy of subcontractor work, providing technical guidance where required. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and design engineers to resolve technical challenges. Maintain records of survey data, as-built information, and quality checks. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures. Qualifications & Experience Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline. 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects (ICI experience preferred). Strong knowledge of surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS, laser levels). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Good communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional site teams. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
