Job Description

At Unmade, we create brands for companies that are changing how the world works. Our clients span a wide range of categories, representing some of the most exciting businesses in the tech space & e-commerce. In a lot of ways, we embody the best things about startup culture. We are self-starters who know how to create something from nothing. We are currently looking for a Project Manager to oversee eCommerce website projects—primarily built on Shopify—for some of our most valued clients. This person will be responsible for managing timelines, aligning internal teams, and ensuring smooth delivery of every project stage from kickoff to go-live. Who you are: Develop, maintain, and grow strong relationships with assigned accounts. Act as the day-to-day contact between Unmade and assigned accounts to identify, communicate, and make necessary changes to correct issues, address needs, and grow the business within the accounts. Work with clients on strategic operational needs, including reporting, education, and ongoing support. Responsible for the successful delivery of new builds, redesigns, and site enhancements. Define detailed scopes of work and create proposals for eCommerce projects. Assign tasks/projects to proper teams (design, development, QA) using tools like Asana, ClickUp or similar. Ensure all client deliverables are met, on time and on budget. Set up and lead meetings with clients, ensuring all relevant info is communicated clearly to the team. Manage internal teams through all phases of project execution—wireframes, design, development, QA and launch. Monitor ongoing project status and proactively communicate updates and roadblocks to clients. Support post-launch phases and coordinate ongoing maintenance or feature releases. Shopify-Specific Responsibilities: Lead the production of Shopify and Shopify Plus websites , from theme selection/customization to integration of third-party apps. Collaborate with design and development teams to implement custom features including product configurators, bundles, checkout flows, etc. Coordinate and track tasks related to app integrations, payment gateways, shipping rules, analytics, and more . Understand Shopify ecosystem limitations and communicate constraints or technical tradeoffs clearly to clients. Review all deliverables to ensure functional accuracy, mobile responsiveness, and alignment with client expectations . Participate in QA processes prior to launch, validating cart functionality, variant logic, discount rules, and transactional flows. Coordinate client hand-offs, documentation, and basic training after launch if needed. What we’re looking for: 4 years of experience in account or project management within a tech, digital, or web agency environment. Demonstrated experience managing Shopify store builds, migrations, or customizations . Strong understanding of eCommerce UX best practices and key site functionalities. Experience working with Figma, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Meta Pixel , and other common eCommerce tools. Strong organizational skills and experience using project management software (Asana, ClickUp, Monday, etc.). Excellent communication and client-facing skills—able to translate technical conversations into clear plans of action. Bonus: Familiarity with common Shopify apps (Recharge, ReConvert, Gorgias, etc.) or working with dev teams using Liquid. Compensation: $27,000–$32,000 MXN , depending on experience benefits.
