As a Cloud Security Engineer , you'll play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments that support business growth. This advanced position empowers innovation by applying deep technical knowledge in cloud architecture, security operations, and automation, ensuring protection across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll integrate security best practices throughout the cloud stack while responding proactively to emerging threats and incidents. This role requires strong communication, adaptability, and hands-on expertise with leading cloud platforms and security tools. What you'll do: Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure with architects and engineers. Secure applications and environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI (AWS preferred). Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and business continuity standards. Develop and maintain automation scripts for security workflows (Python, PowerShell, or Bash). Monitor and administer cloud security configurations to reduce enterprise risk. Implement identity and access controls across platforms. Advise on secure design in technical meetings. Assess and address emerging threats with proactive measures. Lead remediation efforts following assessments or incidents. Document and enforce balanced security improvements. Oversee third-party vendors’ compliance with security requirements. Stay updated on security regulations and apply them across units. Support incident response efforts with tracking and collaboration. Participate in project and change management processes to embed security early. Document security processes and train teams on secure practices. What you’ll bring: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI. Strong support skills in Linux and Windows. Experience with CSPM tools (Wiz preferred). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Salt). Solid understanding of cloud networking and operations. Knowledge of encryption and networking protocols (VPNs, IPsec, SSL/TLS, LDAP, PKI). Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud-native monitoring/logging tools (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Datadog). Awareness of compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR, ISO 27001, ITIL, NIST). Up-to-date skills in incident response, system hardening, and vulnerability management. Strong communication, adaptability, and integrity. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, MIS, or related field—or equivalent experience. Current knowledge of threat intelligence and attack vectors. Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty (or in progress) are a plus.
