Database Developer with Security Clearance

Position Description Summary: The Database Developer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of databases and data-driven applications. This role includes database programming, report generation, and supporting business operations through various databases and analytical tools. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with strong technical capabilities and excellent collaboration skills, supporting Naval operations at Naval Station Mayport. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain databases and data systems. Conduct data analysis to support business needs and decision-making processes. Develop reports, queries, and automation tools using MS Access, SQL, VBA, and related tools. Utilize Microsoft Access and SharePoint for data management and collaboration. Develop and maintain websites or portals using HTML and SharePoint. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database systems and applications. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all databases. Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in database development, business analysis, and related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, SharePoint, SQL, VBA, HTML, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to develop reports, automate tasks, and support database applications. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Security Clearance Required: Active SECRET clearance is required.
