Electrical/Sonar Technician with Security Clearance

McLaughlin Research Corporation is a full life cycle engineering and technical services company, partnering with our customers to support a wide range of Department of Defense weapon, combat, and sensor system programs. Candidate will be a member of a team that assembles, tests and installs electronic assemblies using sub-assemblies, parts and fasteners. They will fabricate and assemble cable harnesses, wire electrical chassis and electrical boxes. The finished products will be installed, tested or removed from US Navy Ships. Specific duties: Work with installation and engineering groups on mechanical and electrical layout and design of product updates and new product releases Fabricate and design cable harnesses and wire assemblies Wiring of electrical cables Developing installation kits for system installers Documentation and reporting of work performed Job Requirements: Candidate will be required to lift, pull or carry items of approximate weight of 40 LBS in confined spaces including vertical ladders. This position may require travel with minimal notice. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing High school diploma or G.E.D. required
