We are seeking a skilled and motivated dental technician who has served as either a department manager or a senior-level technician managing team members , and is now ready to step into a full Lab Manager position . About the Lab The lab will specialize in All-on-X , crown and bridge , removables , and advanced digital workflows . With a full-time business development lead driving new client growth and mentorship from industry experts, this is a rare opportunity to help shape technology choices, team structure, and operational systems in a fast-growing lab environment. Key Responsibilities Technical & Case Management: Perform bench work (80%) during the first 6 months while recruiting and training your team Hands-on work in crowns, bridges, implants, removables, and All-on-X restorations Assist technicians with case troubleshooting and support complex case planning Oversee and maintain quality control protocols to ensure consistent, high-quality case outcomes Contribute to the adoption of new techniques and improvements in fabrication processes Leadership & Operations: Lead, train, and develop a growing team of technicians to ensure operational excellence Oversee end-to-end workflow from case intake to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy Collaborate with doctors and the internal business development team to ensure client satisfaction Build and manage production schedules , team performance evaluations, and supply cost controls Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), lab output, and business development progress Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, safety regulations, and lab best practices Optimize workflows and identify root causes of remakes to improve profitability and consistency Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a dental laboratory, with strong focus on fixed restorations, implants, removables, and All-on-X cases 2 years of experience in a supervisory or department lead role Strong command of CAD/CAM workflows , including software such as 3Shape and Exocad Proficiency in both digital design and hands-on fabrication Excellent communication and relationship-building skillsmust be confident interfacing with doctors, clients, and team members Knowledge of dental materials and case troubleshooting Ability to analyze production metrics and contribute to business operations and reporting Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance available for the right candidate Support and Growth Mentorship from seasoned industry leaders to support your transition into higher management and business strategy Dedicated business development staff to drive incoming case volume Clear advancement path toward Operations Manager or General Manager role Compensation and Benefits Base Salary: $100,000$125,000, based on experience Bonus Program: KPI-based bonus opportunity up to $30,000 annually Relocation assistance available Competitive benefits package and long-term career development support Next Steps If youre an experienced technician or department lead ready to make a leap into full lab management, we want to hear from you.
