Pay Information $1,981 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Strong cardiac skills required Description: The position involves working in a cardiac observation unit. Travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity. Currently, there is a 1:5 patient ratio for the unit, with a goal of achieving 1:4. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Epic experience is required for this role. Candidates are required to work at least one holiday during the assignment. During winter holidays, candidates are required to work two holidays. Compliance documents are due by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date. Local candidates within a specified distance are not accepted. Previous employees must have been away for a minimum of one year before reapplying. Travelers are not allowed to return after working an assignment for a specific period, except for cases reviewed by leadership. Modules completed during orientation are non-billable but will be paid upon receipt of approved hours.
