Job Description Job Description Direct Counsel is representing a nationally recognized law firm in its search for a Technology Transactions Associate in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level associate (minimum 3 years of experience) to join a growing team that works with clients in the software, digital media, advertising, FinTech, and emerging tech industries. About the Role The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements for technology-driven transactions. You’ll work with a collaborative and dynamic group of attorneys and industry leaders, handling: Software development and licensing agreements SaaS, reseller, and cloud-based service contracts Hardware and system integration deals Advertising, AdTech, FinTech, and digital content licensing matters This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, solutions-focused attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and navigating evolving tech issues. Qualifications 3 years of experience focused on technology transactions Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills Strong academic credentials and professional references Experience with digital media, advertising, or FinTech is a plus Admission to the New York Bar and in good standing Compensation Base salary range: $250,000 – $370,000 Compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and internal equity Full-time employees may also be eligible for bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plans Paid time off Professional development support
