General Manager

GateSource HR is supporting a leading mining company in the search for an experienced General Manager to oversee operations in Mexico. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of mining operations (underground and open-pit). Drive operational excellence, safety, and productivity improvements. Oversee budgeting, cost control, and strategic planning. Build, train, and mentor high-performance teams. Manage stakeholder relations, including contractors, unions, and local communities. Requirements: Proven experience in a senior management role within the mining industry (General Manager, Mine Manager, Operations Manager). Strong knowledge of mining processes, safety standards, and operational best practices. Bilingual – Spanish & English Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field; advanced studies (MBA, Project Management) considered an asset. Location: Mexico (on-site, rotation may apply).
