Main Responsibilities Will Include Secure adherence to the company’s directives, group policies, and local laws Ensure the accuracy of the accounting data, for statutory and US books Ensure the accuracy on VAT reporting Process the monthly sales commission computation and ensure the correct tax aspect Collaborate in the preparation of annual financial statements, tax declarations, and related reports Support external and internal audits Cooperate with external partners on payroll and other employees’ related matters Ensure accuracy of the monthly accounts, accruals and reconciliations Monthly intrastat and esterometro declarations Follow up AR cash receipts for allocations Daily Banking uploads About You The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of proven experience in a similar position/role, working in a commercial business or similar environment. Deep knowledge of local statutory accounts (strong knowledge of Italian GAAP) and VAT legislation Strong understanding of accounting controls and processes (SOX, account reconciliations, etc.) Analytical, financial, and planning skills A degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Business, or Finance Computer skills: Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; familiar with ERPs (SAP 4/H, MS Business Central) Fluent in written and spoken English Excellent communication, technical, and presentation skills At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
